License & Usage

Iris & Dill products are created to help you make beautiful celebrations a little easier. Your purchase includes a license to use the design for your own personal event, while the template, artwork, layout, and other design elements remain protected by copyright or their respective licenses. This page explains what you may and may not do with your purchase.

Personal Use License

Unless a product listing specifically states otherwise, all Iris & Dill digital products are licensed for personal, non-commercial use only.

Your purchase gives you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the product for your own personal event.

You may:

Edit and personalize the template for your event.
Download your completed design in the available file formats.
Print as many copies as reasonably needed for your personal event.
Send the finished design digitally to your guests.
Use the finished design for event-related purposes, such as invitations, signage, stationery, or party materials.
Make reasonable edits within the customization options provided by the template.

What You May Not Do

Your purchase does not give you permission to resell, redistribute, sublicense, or commercially use the template or its design elements.

You may not:

Resell the template or finished digital file.
Share or distribute the editable Canva template link.
Give the template to another person for their own event.
Upload the template or source file to another website, marketplace, file-sharing platform, or template library.
Claim the design or artwork as your own original creation.
Use the template to create products for resale.
Use the design as part of a paid design service, event-planning service, or client project without written permission from Iris & Dill.
Extract individual illustrations, graphics, fonts, photographs, or other design elements for separate use.
Modify the template and resell the altered version.
Reproduce Iris & Dill products for commercial distribution.
Use product images, listing photos, website graphics, or other Iris & Dill content to promote your own products or business.

Canva Template Access

Some Iris & Dill products are delivered through Canva.

Your Canva template link is provided for your individual use and should not be shared with others. Anyone who needs their own copy of an Iris & Dill template must purchase the product separately.

You may duplicate the template within your own Canva account as needed for the same personal event.

Access to Canva is subject to Canva's own terms, platform availability, and licensing requirements.

Third-Party Design Elements

Some Iris & Dill designs may include fonts, illustrations, graphics, photographs, or other elements used under license from third-party creators or platforms.

Those elements remain the intellectual property of their respective owners.

Purchasing an Iris & Dill product does not transfer ownership of those elements to you and does not give you permission to extract, redistribute, resell, or independently use them outside the completed Iris & Dill design.

Printing Your Purchase

You may print your completed design at home or through a professional printing service for your personal event.

You may provide the finished file to a printer solely for the purpose of producing your personal order.

A printing company does not receive permission to retain, reproduce, sell, distribute, or otherwise use the design beyond fulfilling your requested print order.

Sharing Finished Designs

You may share photographs or images of your completed event materials on personal social media accounts.

You may also send finished invitations or event materials digitally to your guests.

Please do not post editable template links, downloadable source files, or high-resolution files in a way that allows others to copy or reuse the design.

Commercial Use

Commercial use is not included with a standard Iris & Dill purchase.

If you are an event planner, designer, photographer, venue, print shop, content creator, or other business interested in using an Iris & Dill product for a client or commercial project, please contact us through the form below before purchasing or using the design.

Written permission or a separate commercial license may be required.
